    There’s custom-made machinery, tooling and equipment in almost all companies too. Even high-tech ones. Many production floors have some machine that has been there and quietly chugging along for 100+ years, that would put the entire company’s future in jeopardy if it were to break down, and that generations of employees have maintained pretty much in its original state.

    This is a cemetery’s machinery. It’s a business too in a way, and there’s no sense in replacing something that works. Those custom vehicles will probably be there 100 years from now.
