SpaceHey claims to not track data. Can it be trusted? I can't find the source code, though.

There is no source code, and no, you cannot trust anyone. If you want decentralization, there is Friendica.

I just found a opposing point to their “no data tracking” allegation.

“Sorry, SpaceHey isn’t avaliable at your country. This is due to age verification laws (…)”

How do they know my country? Exactly.

IP address, you’re in the UK or some weird state in the USA. Whatever it is, your friends will be in the same country and will have the same problems.

IP address, I thought they didn’t collect data. That’s the point I mentioned. Also, yea, Brazil.

I just wanted a site to make a personal blog of mine, though, nothing for friends, I talk to them in SimpleX.

In fairness, it’s impossible not to collect your IP address. It is intrinsically known when you visit a site.

            Don’t use a MySpace/Facebook clone for a blog.

They seem to be aware of some people wanting web privacy but don’t wanna lose their money they get selling data.
