Yeah, I’ve started asking potential business partners if they use AI.
If they say yes, we probably won’t be having a contract with them

Really? That’s crazy, Jensen Huang just announced that literally all people “must” engage with AI as much as possible, because it can “help you remodel your kitchen”
He’s obviously on our side about it, why would he lie?
Al Ries asserted that a brand is a singular idea or concept that you own inside the mind of a prospect.

The keyword - mind. That is, a human being is supposed to stand behind a “brand”, who is responsible for it, and is to be trusted for the product, the effort, the experience they offer.
While you may be correct, that’s not what mind refers to in Al Ries’ assertion. Mind in his assertion is the location of the mental real estate that the brand represents. So his assertion does not dictate that a brand necessarily be human.
But this makes sense because there are already brands that do not have a human behind them such as deities and mother nature. Although there are arguments that the latter is not a brand because there is no preponderance of a transaction, the former certainly does want your money.
it’s amusing… companies have essentially ruined all their images I once had of them and mostly all brand names to be make me think of nothing but corruption/lies/fraud/poor quality.
throw ai into the mix and I assume even worse.
corporations/CEOs have single handily ruined any and all trust I ever once had in them. any new products I assume are a financial trap, and nothing but buzzwords and misleading claims to an effort to extort my money.
if a company tried to communicate with me, my only response is shut up. sadly this applies to even face/face ‘rewards card’
creditcardpeople who try to me up. im done being nice or turning a blind eye.companies who engage with me are met with immediate self defence and hostility. I will no longer allow myself to be raped by these corporations, their brands and lies
Agreed. There is no trusted brand anymore thanks to venture capitalism and its soul mate enshitification. With AI being shoved down our throats, I think they’ve finally gone far enough that your average person is waking up too. It couldn’t come fast enough in the face of climate change, but at least it’s happening now. Hopefully it continues to pick up steam.
