    You become an alcoholic by abusing alcohol, not just from drinking it in moderation and being aware of your consumption.

    No, that is not how alcoholism and addiction work. Your ableism continues to shine through your ignorance on the subject.

      Then please. With your vast knowledge of how ableism and alcoholism works (since you seem to know both better than me), I beg you to educate me. I’d absolute love to hear how you define both.

        Alcoholism and addiction are not a simple matter of willpower. There are physical, neurological causes for them.

        Do you primarily beathe with your nose or mouth? For the next 5 minutes, breathe the opposite. 5 minutes. Breathe only through your mouth if you usually breathe through your nose, or vice versa.

        That’s a small exercise to help you understand what every minute of every day is like in recovery.

        Addiction recovery is literally fighting your brain’s wiring telling you that you need drugs or you will suffer.
