A rooftop misting system in northern China has gone viral as extreme heat drives demand for cooling technology. Interest in the system has extended beyond China, including to Europe where communities are sweltering in record-breaking temperatures.
Uses up (potable?) water, and only works if ambient humidity is low, amirite?
Honestly this is something the tankies here keep forgetting; if we have to pick between using potable water to cool AI data centers or to cool human beings, like OF COURSE we’ll pick data centers; unlike America, China is too cowardly to put a price on human life
