decades worth of distro hopping made me appreciate quick install distros like fedora or ubuntu because they got me on my feet quickly.
but now their ilk are toeing the us empire’s line, it’s time to go back to the “more involved” installations that i did at the beginning. lol
The greatest thing about Arch that I loved was the ability to preinstall packages using archinstall.
the last “involved” installation was with gentoo back in 2004-ish and it’ll either be that again or arch.
