Germany’s Chancellor Merz:

We can no longer accept the extraordinarily high levels of sick leave in our companies.

We are abolishing sick leave by telephone and introducing the requirement to submit a medical certificate from the very first day of illness.

We know this is a tough decision. But we can no longer afford this competitive disadvantage caused by prolonged absences from work.

        She’s not a fascist. You need to sit your American ass down and stop using that term as a populist buzzword in context of German politics. You understand absolutely nothing about what that term entails over here and how much we have suffered under it. We agree, politically speaking. But not everything we find despicable is fascism. Please educate yourself.
