And that establishes a precedent, and then the precedent is then used by following presidents of either political stripe
And this is a running theme. Over the last 15 years or so there have been a number of things which have escalated beyond their normal status Which the left has been silent about only to find the same things used against them at which point they Complain. at that point is too late.
