I suspect that there are more libertarians in this space than communists.

But that’s not saying much because there are relatively few communists to begin with. Lol

Aesthetically it’s not that great, letters on a flag don’t work as well as actual symbols and the colour scheme could do with not being primary colours.

It’s a communist KDE flag, and it follows suit with other communist flags.

          Yellow isn’t a primary colour.

Depends on whether you’re talking about additive or subtractive colour. Yellow is primary in a subtractive system, but not an additive one.

I suppose so, but in that case either red or yellow is a primary colour not both. And since we are viewing this on an addative screen red is the primary colour.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
