It’s starting. The relative reprieve from leftist persecution that came with the end of the Cold War, along with the abandonment of leftist ideas by the left parties as part of “the end of history” is coming to an end. The erosion of people’s standards of living is resurfacing the solutions that worked many decades ago and the machine is preparing to protect itself.
