Didn’t like the movie all that much, not because of any politics but simply that it actually paid very little focus to his actual adventures on the journey. The last thing I wanted was yet another Hollywood style ‘hero vs mooks’ ending battle.
(Yes, I’m aware the story ended with a slaughter. That’s different from how the movie ended, imo.)
