Have you confused anti-consumer (doing something that harms people buying goods and services) with anti-consumerist (being against the buying and selling of goods and services)? Lemmy is not anti-consumer. It’s the opposite almost always. It is frequently anti-capitalist or anti-consumerist though. These are not the same thing.
I still don’t understand. What thing did people start being anti-consumer with? You didn’t explain that.
