Oh I was a huge Gears of War fan during the time. Interestingly enough, Cliff Bleszinski, the Game Designer has cited Resident Evil 4 being a major influence in the over the shoulder. I watched many interviews when I was younger I also remember them talking about how running in GoW only made you run 10% faster lol
