On Saturday, Ukraine attacked an Iranian commercial ship in the Caspian sea, killing 1 sailor and injuring another.
Zelensky acknowledged the attack and claimed that the attack was justified by saying that the ship was carrying weapons to Russia. There are some reports that the attacked ship was transporting steel.
Iran has said that it has the right to retaliate against Ukraine. Iran FM Araghchi said on Sunday that Ukraine attacked Iran at the behest of Israel. Iran is still discussing how it will retaliate.
Zelensky and Netanyahu are both meeting privately with Trump to discuss their wars. I would imagine that there will be discussion of Ukraine’s attack on Iran.
