The world isn’t ready for Dungeons & Kittens. I have it at home. Way richer than expected.
Has anyone here played daggerheart? I’ve only read through its srd and the rules and dice mechanics are completely uninteresting to me. I typically prefer rules light games, osr inspired, or pbta. Nothing in daggerheart’s rules screams that it sounds fun to play at the table, or that it wouldn’t turn into a rules slog like dnd, but maybe I’m missing something in there
I haven’t played the final release version, but played the intro scenario in the original beta release. I know there’s been some changes since but not fully aware of the scope.
It seemed to work well for the style of game my group tends to play. I plan on buying it and trying a longer campaign once my current ones are done.
It may just not be your cup of tea, and that’s okay.
Is daggerheart any good?
I mean, it just won “best rules” and “best game” awards. So it would appear that at least some people think so.
