I remember a case where somebody got away with (cw: necrophilia) necrophilia because there was no law against it, presumably because no legislator wanted their name within a mile of corpse sex, even for being on the right side of the “issue.”
And then a non-Minnesotan with existing image problems to put it mildly decides to weigh in in favor of aicsam in that state.

there’s a few things like that where there sometimes isn’t a law because nobody thought of the depravity to ban it.
