Or is it enough to merely raise awareness now, because all of the people you elected to do this before only vote on it when it makes no difference?
How soon after being betrayed do you guys reset mentally and think the senate does something? Telling people they can vote out a genocide to launch your political career is worse than just being an open enemy.
