Communists when Democrats are accused of communism

I would listen, if anyone is an expert at losing big national elections, it’s Hillary Clinton…
I think the effectiveness of this attack will be diminished by Republicans literally always accusing Democrats of being communists.
It’ll work on the people it always works on, everyone else will ignore it as noise.
Fuck this war criminal.
I’d vote for a communist before I ever vote for a traitorous Republican.
Is wish you were representative of the voters they’re trying to influence :/
The type of person who cares about the communist label isn’t the type of person worth trying to win over. Clinton is just doing the same “third-way” shit that they have both been doing since 1990. That world doesn’t exist anymore and dem trying to appeal to the moderate republican by adopting neo-liberal policies is just old garbage that should have been kicked to the curb in 2016 if not earlier.

It’s the same picture.

I think it’s important not to let right-wing populist rhetoric with its constant baseless accusations and false labelling take over. (True) conservatives and those on the left need to not let them take away words or redefine meanings. We should be able to say and probably should say more things like “I’m a patriot, that’s why I don’t want fascists taking over this country” or “I’m not a communist or leftist or activist, you Nazi, I’m simply pro constitution and pro basic rights”. Not literally that but you get the point. Rhetoric counters need to be more resolute. If you let them label you activist or communist or “not for your country” despite you being maybe centrist, democrat, pro constitution and pro basic rights, you’ve already given them way too much of a rhetoric advantage.
