    The “Israel Palestine mess”?

I’m trying really really hard to be more constructive and less agro with my comments and replies but I must say from the bottom of my heart: go fuck yourself. And that is me being restrained.

“I feel bad for both the children of plantation owners AND slave children in this whole chattel mess”

“I feel bad for both the death camp internees AND the children of the SS overseers in this whole Auschwitz mess”

Straight in the pit with you.

Dude, take a breath. This is a social media site and I occasionally have better things to do than take extra time to ensure I word things in the exact right way, especially when I’m trying to relay info about the actions and statements of someone else.

If you have some way you’d prefer that sentence chunk to be worded, you’re welcome to suggest it and I’ll edit my comment and consider myself well and truly educated on correct way to refer to things. That’d be far more effective than taking the time to get enraged at whatever strawman of me you’ve built up.

And the comparison to slavery doesn’t hold. I truly don’t have the time and effort available to write some big thesis on how fucked that comparison is, but in short: slaves didn’t have an active military force comparable to the slave owners. Before the north stepped up they weren’t launching missile counter strikes.

“Why didn’t the slaves just fight back with their own muskets? Were they stupid?”

Ultimately, Mrs. Rachel’s statements were entirely about the unnecessary harm and death of children in a war/genocide they had no hand in. She wasn’t talking fucking child soldiers, teenagers, hitler youth types. She’s talking babies, toddlers, young children most likely under the age of 8. At those ages hate has to be taught, and none of those kids are out committing atrocities themselves.

There weren’t six year olds out whipping slaves or SAing slave women. There aren’t six year olds piloting drones or coordinating rocket and artillery strikes for Israel.

Don’t get me wrong, free Palestine. Fuck pissrael. Fuck Zionists. If we absolutely must weigh child lives against each other than Palestinian children matter more no question. But I don’t want to live in a world where people are remorselessly ok with dead toddlers just because of where they were born.

I’m of the personal opinion that’s well and truly fucked up mentality. You’re more than welcome to disagree, or to go spread some hatred at Mrs. Rachel for not restricting her empathy to only see the right toddlers, but I truly feel that reflects more on you than anybody else.

My objection is not to feeling for the innocent children, but rather your referral to the “Israel Palestine ‘mess’” which is a disgusting way to phrase it.

Or you could just not say “both sides” in a fucking genocide. It’s actually really easy.

The parents on one side of this conflict can simply take their kids and fuck off back to Europe. The same cannot be said for the Palestinian children trapped in a death camp.

My guy, I already gave you and everyone else the easiest fucking solution to this. Asked you to just give me how you preferred it to have been phrased. So far, neither you nor anyone else has done what should be incredibly easy. I’ve adjusted the phrasing anyway. You’re welcome.

Also, please go do some remedial English. Someone simply using the phrase “both sides” is absolutely not the same as actually drawing equivalence.

It was a three sentence comment typed in haste as an attempt to provide some additional context.

Beyond that I have now done my best to make my opinions about the genocide blatant at this point. I’m coming from an instance that should be known at this point for its strict no Zionist policies.

The fact that this was responded to by multiple people aggressively making large negative claims about my personal beliefs is just absurd. Especially the continuance of that after I offered an easy solution and made my beliefs explicit. The amount of imagining between the lines that has happened from such a throwaway comment puts fanfic communities to shame.

Not a guy and you’re just doubling and tripling down while also insinuating I am illiterate. You could have just done a tiny bit of self crit ya know.
