Wish I thought of that. What survives is what I will grow next year is a decent way of finding out what grows well. I did plant a mix of things in different spots though.

So far best vegetable crop is rhubarb. Nothing else even really compares which is a bit annoying because I do want to grow more than just rhubarb. But at least it is a start I suppose.

May look into more fruit, usually I forage for plums, apples and blackberries which are incredibly abundant. So growing it in my limited space feels a bit like a waste of the space I have.

Kale would be nice but kept getting eaten. Maybe I need to get nets for it, don’t really like plastic everywhere though.
