    I love little genetic quirks like this. Like, why does cilantro taste like soap to me? Such small differences leading to a separate perception of reality

      so i like cilantro but i can absolutely smell cilantro in some soaps and detergents, i have to assume the “tastes like soap” gene is something different than whatever i got going on but either way it’s a funky coincidence
