Asahi Super Dry is a trash beer. So… train to be trash or something?
Edit: Super Dry is the McDonald’s of Japanese beers. Try anything from Minoh Brewery and then tell me with a straight face that Asahi doesn’t make dog water.
It’s the worst of the big 3. Both Sapporo and Kirin beat it by miles. That being said they did make a can that you pop the entire top lid off and it mimics a draft beer, so at least there’s that.
But Japan’s craft beer market is relatively young, so trying to decide between which light lager is slightly different than the others is kind of pointless anyway. At least other options are relatively common these days, even if it’s expensive and they don’t have the variety that the states does.

that’s an opinion you’re entitled to even if it’s spectacularly wrong.
it’s a fantastic beer, especially with sushi and sashimi.

agree re: sapporo, do not agree re: kirin ichiban. but eh. I don’t get much japanese craft beer opportunities.
I didn’t know it was possible to be so wrong
Hey Asahi is good stuff, don’t shit on Asahi
Boo. Way better than any American slop beer.
That’s a low bar to clear tbh.
