Tuning / ricing is overrated. I used to spend hoursyears ricing my desktop (enlightenment DR16 anyone?). Screw that, Gnome it is: simple, elegant, functional.
I do add 2 very useful plugins tho: Wobbly Windows and the Spinning Cube. Shows my age I guess.
Most people have. The specific bike/car subculture isn’t really a thing any more so the term is gone too. It’s only still hanging on in older gentoo users.
