Notice the lack of black people on their little globe there. They’ve got Inuit, Asian, some tan guy in a fez, and two varieties of white. Not quite “ALL THE WORLD.”
I know the real reason is racism. Though considering the statement is about how the world “loves A & W,” I’ll posit that they actually failed to reach black people’s high standards.
Barqs is better.

A&W used to be so good. Their root beer was the best drink ever.
Still pretty good in Canada. A different company runs it in Canada and it’s apparently way better than the US version.
Can confirm, I didn’t go to the USA, but as a European, I especially found A&W to consistently be up to my standards regarding meat quality when I was living in Canada. A tad expensive though IIRC
used to be a lot better than it is now.
but ‘the best’ i ever had was from the root beer lady. it hit a little harder after a week in the wilderness.

That’s why my parents took us there when we were little.
Abita is #1 for me (if it can be found) but A&W is always acceptable.
