    Didn’t Audacit fall from grace, because of privacy-issues? I mean, this was one of the reasons for the Tenacity fork.

        Opt-in, at least. You got it if you want it (with an extra install and several gigs of storage use), and it takes up no extra space if you, like me, prefer not to use it.

            That Tenacity fork is anti-AI, btw. You don’t have to touch any of modern Audacity’s slopcode.

      From what I’ve read they reversed course on the telemetry issues and have stayed true to that, so that’s nice. This overhaul might be worth a look after several years of turbulence.

        Embrace by buying audacity
        Extend by adding so much feature that it is better then forks before the merger in everyway
        Excliensh by enshiification, add ai, ads, clouds, buyable features etc
