Likely, and this also goes beyond Iran. The US has basically weaponized the dollar system now, and everybody knows they need to get off of it ASAP.

There’s a really good interview with colonel Lawrence Wilkerson who was the former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State where he talks about how the US has full capture of the European political class. So, what we see happening in Europe isn’t too surprising.

I know, I often find those channels a lil bit to right wing, bordering on fascist but I live in Europe I know how they work. I just hate that he has climate change deniers on his channel it’s incredibly harmful.

I also don’t see the AfD as an alternative outcome for Europe. Theyre kind of fucking stupid and electing them as an alternative is as dumb as electing Donald Trump.

Not saying you all must, but things won’t get better without organizing, until then it will keep moving right until all the mainstream parties are indistinguishable from fascists (which is already happening in many places, to some degree)

Yep. I totally agree, people in politics also tend to not want to be wrong, because at the end of the day a victory in politics means you get a lot of access to power people start just using ideologies to win arguments instead of really trying to understand the thoughts and meaning behind them.

No they aren’t. The Dutch just pulled their gold reserves out of the US. The tech bros and Trump are TRYING to crash the dollar. Trump has said that he likes the dollar going down because he is making money.

This is why they push crypto. People don’t understand the crash that is coming. At least after the great depression and the 2008 financial crisis we were never questioning the dollar.

When this next crash happens, all that matters are assets. We will have new money. They have said this, project 2025 has said this, Peter Thiel has said this, it is objectively happening.

I am intimately aware of the sheer apathy of the American electorate. That being said, it always holds true that any government is just a few empty meals away from violence. Starvation had already captured people Americans are taught deserve it; we’ll see when msm can’t cover up in encroaching on more, though.

Most mainstream journalists are already posting their real thoughts on YouTube. I’m just trying to use YouTube less.

I respect that. Closest I get is FreeTube. But, as dying as msm is, it isn’t dead yet. Nobody trusts it, but everybody watches it. It’s state-media at this point, and its talking points disseminate all the same. It will get to a point where it can’t contain the stories anymore, though, of that I have no doubt.

I mean I mainly use it on my phone through ad free apps as well so and I watch long form content. I just like going outside which I’m trying to do more I’m really love knowledge and learning though I’m just kinda chaotic (I think I have ADHD or something) so I have a hard time sitting down and learning traditionally. I find it really interesting that journalists are speaking their minds on private channels, so obviously they don’t control the narrative. I would love to start a media company, but I would want to have final editorial say on the type of content put out (not so much what people do maybe just the ability to veto something’s by internal vote or something) I would love a new media co op something like Novara but good. There are lots of talented well read and clever people in the msm. Their editors are just nuts.

There is no doubt that people will fight. The major problem is everyone is just watching the enemy dig in, organize, arm themselves, and sabotage us before acting.

For the US anyway, we are broken in to almost thirds. 1/3 hate it, 1/3 love it, and 1/3 literally don’t know anything is happening right now. The ultra rich fractured us really well. Other countries will be better off because you guys still have free healthcare and education which makes your populations INCREDIBLY smarter than a normal american. Don’t ever give those up

So when I see libs (liberals?) in reference to right-sided groups, that’s different than what the US calls “liberal” yea? Because I thought, in the US, the liberals were left. No?

Liberalism is inherently a right wing ideology. You have political liberalism which focuses on all these wholesome ideas like individual freedoms and democracy that are used to market it. But economic liberalism is the meat of the system and it centers around markets, private property, and wealth accumulation. So the whole idea that liberalism supports everyone’s freedom is fundamentally incompatible with enshrining private property rights as sacred because that removes them from political debate.

Equating private property with individual freedom provides the foundational justification for the rich to keep their wealth while ignoring the needs of everyone else. So all the talk of freedom and democracy ends up being just a fig leaf for capitalist relations.

Liberals are the people who support/defend/upholds neo-liberalism/capitalism.

            So they are right wing.

They are also conservative if you think about it, because if the status quo is neo-liberalism supporting it is opposing change.

The so called conservatives are the ultra conservative.

I think a better label for the so-called “conservatives” is “regressives”. They don’t even want to preserve the status quo as it is, they want societal development to be rolled back 60-200 years depending on the issue

It is, for them. It’s not fun for those of us who see it necessary. But it is necessary, if life is to have a chance, and moreover, ab free life, healthy in body and mind.
