From what I read in the comments, the game is basically unplayable without also buying the much more expensive DLCs.
I enjoyed the base game immensely.
From what I understand, they “reworked” abilities and other features, which are now locked if you don’t own the dlc. Entire skill trees are now unavailable.

Also, it looks like grabbing it all is $35. That’s less than the base when not on sale. 🤔
That’s what my issue is! I got it in humble choice a few months ago but felt like part of the game was missing… It was the fucking dlc.
At its core, it is a fine Diablo game. But it’s packaged in a crummy shell of IAPs and mandatory-online crud. I got it on sale at about this price and wish I hadn’t.
