        Man that’s really disappointing to see. I literally background watch mythbusters every night as I’m going to bed and I’ve loved the show since I was a kid. Hope the remainder of the crew continues to maintain their integrity.

          At least Adam Savage is a good dude. He is actively running his YouTube channel, and often answers various questions including personal ones.

          And I at least know that he has actively tweeted in support of LGBTQ+ rights. I highly doubt he would sell out for big oil.

                I live in San Francisco and ran into him at brunch a few weeks ago - he was super friendly when I came up to talk to him and super patient and sweet. I was super nervous that meeting him would ruin my image of him but it is still intact :)

            It probably helps that he’s probably a millionaire and has some tremendous life achievements under his belt.

              Notice how no one spent any consideration for the fact that she is a broke Actor as opposed to a Millionaire. Hate the message not the messenger.

                  Seriously, using that logic you can justify anything. There are gradations of “poor” and we all sell a little bit of ourselves to make money but just going all out to shill for oil companies in the midst of a serious climate crisis is beyond the pale.

                  Kari is less a poor exploited worker and more of an eager grifter. I wonder how much of this Kari really believes. Do we sympathize with every hack trying to sell a book or radio show?

                Various sites estimate her net wealth between $1.5 and $2 million.

                While that you can argue if that makes her rich, it definitely makes her a millionaire and she’s certainly not broke.

                  You have no clue what she owes nor whom. 45 was a billionaire despite owing the Russian Mob billions more than his holdings.

                    The “net” in “net wealth” includes debts. Anyone can claim she’s broke but all the available evidence shows she’s not.
