    That’s your thank for Schäubles “Griechenlandrettung”? Do you have the slightest idea how much it costed us to give you all the loans you have to pay back with interest? Do you understand our sacrifice we made by forcing all the German companies onto you?

    No seriously, this deeply politicized me back then and I’m to this day voting for the one party that wanted a debt cut for Greece. All I can say is I’m sorry for my country.

    Can someone more experienced than me make an educated guess if the average English-speaking person knows what „Deutsche” means? Are the foreign language adjectives common knowledge?

      I feel like most would assume it refers to a country, but something tells me a lot of people would assume it’s the Netherlands
