My antivirus loadout for computer-illiterate relatives’ computers used to be intense and involve multiple pieces of software. Now it’s just uBlock Origin, Windows Defender, and turn on auto-update on everything. Because if you’re running a good ad blocker in an up-to-date browser on an up-to-date OS and your techie relative puts the fear of god into you about downloading weird executables you’re basically fine currently.
