Install newpipe with f-droid.
Remember to go into Apps and click on Newpipe and change default urls so Android opens all the YouTube urls with Newpipe.
After that, it’s heaven on mobile.
There is a fork of NewPipe which supports sponsorblock. That clips out the segments your talking about. Mainline NewPipe won’t support that as an ethical stance so only in the fork.
