When I was 16 I bought that MacBook and I put a bunch of random stickers on it. I took them off today and they left this residue… how can I get it off without damaging the finish?

I had someone interested in buying it for $300… I just informed them of this and now they are offering $200 for it. What would you pay with this damage?

It’s a 2018 dual core i5, 8gb ram, 128gb ssd…. (Very first MacBook Air remodel from that olllld design. It’s the base model)

i’d say $200 is fair for that but if they were willing to pay $300 initially and brought it down due to the sticker residue, just remove the sticker residue and send them a pic. they might not go back up to $300 but $250 isn’t a bad price for a 128gb laptop in 2023.

I would keep the laptop and use it in shell mode with window bootcamp for school work!/side project instead. If you don’t need the money rn of course
