The correct toppings are: Ketchup Mustard (preferably dijon, but some like the sweet variant) Remulade Both raw and roasted onions Slices of pickled cucumber What’s remulade you ask? It is the slightly tangy/sweet thick sauce that ties the whole thing together.
minus-squaresplicerslicer@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 year agoNot any different than the way I have them, except I don’t have remoulade and prefer dill relish instead of whole pickle slices on hot dogs

minus-squarevivadanang@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoare the cucumbers pickled dill (tart) or sweet?
minus-squareTrollivier@sh.itjust.worksOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoI would try that anytime and put mayo and cheese on it.
minus-squarefolkrav@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoTo me, while they taste great on their own, pickles just steal the show of anything I put them on, I can only taste the vinegar… But the rest sounds delicious in its own right!
