The powder sent to both King and Spokane counties tested positive for traces of fentanyl.

What they’re trying to accomplish is to make people afraid to get involved in administering elections unless they’re “on the right side.”

This particular effort might or might not have any effect at all. But the point is, it’s in concert with a thousand other things. And, more importantly, they’re getting practice, and learning about what works and what doesn’t and what they can get away with, and who they can trust as their allies when things get real.

      on the right side.

Will this be an ironic double standard or ironic double entendre? Dun-da-da-dun!

Oh for sure. I’m just glad they keep doing this harmless shit. But, the scary thing is that the more they escalate and see it doesn’t work, the more they will keep escalating.

High praise to all the people working the elections these days ❤️

The one good thing is that the government does not take that lying down.

Part of the reason why the Jan 6th insurrectionists have been subjected to such a dog and pony show is because they’re attempting to use the media to dissuade further domestic terrorists from engaging in domestic terrorism.

I feel like tracking down the people that send strange white powders to government offices and subjecting them to the same punishment and ridicule should also help prevent or at least minimize future occurrences as well

Yeah, 1,000%. I reached out about volunteering but I never followed through on it. I should call again and try to volunteer for the next one.

They actually don’t use volunteers here. They pay people to do the work. I asked Julie Wise about this at a town hall once. You can go observe, though.
