I found it complicated at first (didn’t know which instance “will last”, where to register to not lose anything when instance admin decide to turn it down), but now it’s going good. We are missing mobile apps though.
What’s are your thoughts about Lemmy/kbin?
These align with my thoughts almost exactly. My logical brain wants there to be an instance that is field-based with communities hosted on it that are relevant. Think kind of like
programming.devthen having like PowerShell, C, Rust, Java, etc. communities on it. But I also understand that that’s not really how this works, and that’s completely okay. Overall I’ve had a pretty good experience thus far.The engagement, because of the significantly smaller userbase than Reddit, has made my first little stint much more enjoyable!
