I will probably watch anything he’s in out of sheer morbid curiosity.

Recentlish movie with him that I really enjoyed:

Mandy (2018): Slasher/LSD infused terror movie excellently acted by Cage (that scream at the bathroom is a delight), with a really interesting cinematography.

Color of out space (2019): I don’t remember a lot about this one, except that scene at the kitchen.

Pig (2021): seek and revenge thriller that would make you cry.

The unbearable weight of massive talent (2022): funny action movie, Pedro Pascal steal the spotlight, but Cage doesn’t get behind.

That is such a Cage movie summary it should be on the cover. Sold me on it.

So many of his movies have the effect you end up wondering whether you fell asleep during it and dreamt some of it.

Color out of space is great. It’s just a family dealing with a little cosmic horror for the weekend.

Nick Cage reached a level of Hollywood success that few can accomplish. Then he was like, “meh, I’ve already won. I’m going to go back to accepting every role that comes my way”.

      It was more like,

I’ve blown all my money on things *ding dong Oh it’s the tax man, I guess I’ll say yes to every movie regardless of merit until I have paid down my massive tax liability.

And bought a dinosaur bones, and a castle in Europe, and fist superman comic book, and… Point is, he sucks with money and keeps throwing it at everything he fancies, regardless if he really needs it.

So he done what the vast majority of Americans would do if given seemingly unlimited funds?

Shit I want a castle in Europe.

He finally paid of all that debt then? lol

How tf would he do a sequel to Face/Off? He was very dead at the end.

His work is always interesting though. I look forward to seeing whatever he lands on.

I read that he paid it down a while ago, but kept going with all sorts of weird movies because he was enjoying it. I guess he’s finally had his fill.

John Travolta must go undercover again as Nic Cage to run a sting on criminals who don’t realise he’s dead.

The face is done with surgical reconstruction or something

Dude use the spoiler tag, you’re ruining a great movie for everyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

Take face/off of dead Castor Troy, put it on some guy played by Steve Buscemi. Steve Buscemi’s face goes in a vat, until they need john travolta’s brother (played by michael madsen) to become Steve Buscemi’s character. Repeat the basic plot of the first one (Idk I’m not in the writer’s guild) with these guys playing each other and you’ll have a good time!

I imagine him scratching his arm after he said it, twitching a little.
