    I had a window break in my apartment, in January in New England (pretty cold). Landlord says they will fix it soon. 4 months go by with no fix, she finally contacts me about increasing the rent.

      ooo, I had a roof leak and my landlord had code enforcement come to tell me to mow the lawn.

    omfg, I had to unclog 90’ of drain. Im upstream of a 4 plex that i think im connected with. I pulled up shitty wet wipes clogging it. If i added grease it would be a nightmare!

      I had to replace my entire sewer line right after I moved in. Sewer problems are a real hassle.

      Never pour oil into the sink drain, it will combine with soap and solidified, clogging the drain. In some cases you need to call plumber to fix that.

        Ahh Really? I always do that but pour hot water at the same time, never had an issue

          That just pushes the problem farther down and makes your sewage system a little more expensive to maintain. It’s best to wait for the oil to cool enough that it doesn’t melt plastic, then pour it in the trash.

          Or if your landlord sucks just dump it down the drain, I guess… But adding boiling water just shifts the problem to someone else (taxpayers, city employees, etc) who most likely doesn’t deserve it.
