Hell, if it’s actually defunct it’s probably worth more than 25 cents as memorabilia.

What if I give you a 1/3rd of the sale and you come on as my financial advisor?

The way you phrased that reminded me of “a school for ants” from Zoolander.

I used to go to Q-ZAR all the time as a kid! Loved that place, I think I once had a birthday party there.

I can’t believe they went out of business in ‘97. Fuck I’m getting old.

This shit gets me all the time… '97 is 27 years ago. 27. Checks math, yes… 27. Surely not? Feels like it’s 10 years or so. Checks math… no, 27.

It didn’t go out of business in '97, I was 1000% there for a birthday party in 2000 or 2001. It seems the company went bankrupt in 1997, and the assets were sold multiple times over the years. Locations stayed open, and, according to Google at least, there seems to be at least a couple left in Ohio, and California?

Either way, this took me down a nice nostalgia hole, very nice.

I was pretty sure Q-Zar continued to exist well after 1997, so I checked, and yeah, there continued to be Q-Zar locations after the 97 bankruptcy of one of the companies involved.

This location in NY has diversified into Axe Throwing

Looks like the is a random one in Concord CA that survives. And it scored the domain name after the parent went bust.
