At this point higher education has just become a means of gatekeeping office/email jobs (representing the ‘don’t be an asshole’ group) while not giving the tens of thousands to a land speculator doubling as a school puts you on the ‘don’t be a pussy’ group. In the end, it’s a lot of fake jobs to keep consumption going. In the US of course.
Remember in 2023 when that bloc felt the same about Palestine? it’s really just

It certainly hasn’t been about the podcast/conspiracy culture for a while. I’m an r/TA refugee so perhaps things have changed but it really seems like the inevitable forces of reddit finally catching up with them. Memorable posters like throwaway numbers or opencommune disappearing, refugees from the latest banned ‘left’ subreddit not integrating, a lot of reaction/image stuff instead of interesting text posts, multi-thread discourse, etc. It’s reddit.
