You want a good laugh, look at Conservapedia’s article on the war. Titled the “NATO War in Ukraine” to give you an idea.

I always imagined eco-fascism more as an authoritarian government mandating the arguably necessary individual choices that people just won’t make on their own.

Instead of the flimsiest, most insincere excuse for normal ethno-political-motivated fascism. But I guess that’s what it would devolve into in practice.

“Climate havens” will quickly become contested grounds by an overwhelming number of refugees or even state militaries. They are correct that it is highly unlikely that you can dodge the horrific consequences of human-impacted environment just by changing your ZIP code.

I think this program will really come apart when the Army inevitably learns that SIG’s claims that “excess wear” was accounted for in engineering are a total fucking lie and guns start getting beaten to death in droves by 80k PSI.

I honestly cringe whenever people write a college dissertation in the comments trying to straighten out gun facts. One, people need to learn some brevity. Two, it seems like the topic of guns is probably one of the worst offenders for info dumps. I think it’s because weapons are tied to masculinity, and showing that you know about weapons is a subconscious urge to prove your masculinity to others. Even though knowing gun facts in a vacuum isn’t all that impressive nor does it actually prove that you’re masculine or professional or dangerous or however you’d want to interpret it.

Many at this point didn’t enlist at all, they are basically slave-soldiers pressed into service. And not just Russians.

Google is still the one that provides the hardware/security updates to my knowledge. They could choose to cut that off based on the “legitimacy” of your OS or other arbitrary reasoning. It wouldn’t brick the phone but it would lose all future support, making GOS much less compelling.
