Yeah, as an American (the South, even) I can tell you that somebody angrily calling a gay couple queens if she is not herself part of the LGBTQIA+ community would not generally be something accepted here. It is a term many queer people embrace for themselves, but is still often used as a slur by an aging populace and not something a straight cis person should say.
Yeah this book immediately went on my Wishlist after I read this article, incredibly interesting stuff
It is hard to say what I’d do in this situation. Ganassi vs. RLL seems like a no-brainer on paper and Pratt-Miller are strong contenders with a great deal of pedigree, but RLL scoring a huge pickup in former Indycar chief Jay Frye to oversee their operations going forward I think could make staying with RLL a viable idea going forward as I think most would consider it unlikely the team doesn’t turn around to some degree under him and his endless contacts in racing.
I had exactly the same thought, please for the love of God do not recruit Lamb to run against Fetterman. I never really trusted Fetterman or any “cult of personality” type politician, but the only reason I wanted him to become a Senator was to keep Lamb from reviving the Blue Dog wing of the Senate.
