    Egoraptor seems to have become a better person as far as I’m aware.

    Eh, not really. Ended up he mismanaged a video game project two of the ex-OneyPlays co-hosts were working leading to worker abuse (burnout and harassment). They got outed by GameGrumps fans for both being in a gay relationship to their conservative parents due to them speaking up about It. Arin (Egoraptor) never addressed this.

    In 2017, Ding Dong & Julian were the only gay men in the office while Dream Daddy was being developed. They were shown an early build and were offended by what they considered to be tasteless pandering and exploitation of the LGBT community. Apparently they weren’t the only ones and a group of people were planning on speaking up about it and suggested that Ding Dong & Julian be the ones to speak up first since they were the only two gay men. So Ding Dong went on stream and said what he thought about it all and has very fair and rational criticism about the game. But this caused a major backlash from people at the Grumps office and had people including Suzy and Ninja Brian publicly tweeting against Ding Dong trying to discredit everything he said. They claimed he was lying about ever seeing the game and that he was just out to get the Grumps team. In response to this, the “lovelies” came to the Grumps defense and started going after Ding Dong. They doxxed him, and even contacted his abusive homophobic mother telling her their son was gay before he ever had a chance to come out to them. His family was NOT accepting of this and apparently it wasn’t pretty after they found out. This pushed Ding Dong to attempt suicide but he was stopped by Julian. The Grumps never acknowledged this, and apparently told everyone to keep quiet. Ding Dong talks in this stream about the experience and the shady stuff going on behind the scenes at Game Grumps including the cover up of his suicide attempt.

    Unrelated but that’s one of many reasons I don’t really respect nor like “content creators” anymore. If you turn your YouTube channel into a job and a career It’s destined for something fucked up to happen down the line.
