Glyphosate isn’t approved for spraying on soil lacking a certain amount of organic matter. Pretty sure it would be a felony to spray against the label in that type of forest. They need collective legal action stat.

Alfalfa=meat
“American meat consumption dwarfs almond consumption by over 50-fold. The average American eats over 220 pounds of meat annually, compared to just 2 pounds of almonds. While meat is a traditional dietary staple, almond consumption has surged by over 220% due to their popularity as a health snack and dairy substitute.”

Guess what is going to happen though/is already happening…

Oh I wasn’t implying they were my enemies in particular. Just the US’s historical and current political enemies. And they’re thrilled about the Inan thing. They likely ordered Trump to do it.
Eat them, and then don’t grow more.
The climate is great. Historically they have been grown in similar areas. And don’t forget the cheap migrant labor.
Still less H2O intensive than meat production.
Less than meat. But don’t just take my word for it: CA-Ag-Water-Use.pdf https://pacinst.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CA-Ag-Water-Use.pdf

Duh? This is the equivalent of Ukraine for our enemies. They get to test their shit without risking open conflict…

If the only form of resistance Americans are willing to practice is consuming, this would be the way…

Idk I’d rock an 80s style briefcase phone.
Vote with your feet.

The quickdraws are redundant, I would use just two opposite/opposed locking biners for the top rope thru the master point. The idea is to reduce points of failure, each quickdraw adds two possible additional points of failure. Safety knot should be close to the main knot. The master point is ok (safe-ish) but I would just equalize the two lines from the trees and then tie a figure 8. It will be easier to untie, doesn’t need a backup, is easier to adjust, and is simpler. It’s exciting to use your skills, but simple is best usually. You don’t need two loops of rope at the master point with that diameter of cord. I might with 5-7mm cordillette or something, but I’d still tie a figure 8 (just on a bight). Overall you have everything you need for a nice toprope setup, I’d just use those lockers, not the draws. It’s not wrong per se to use draws like that, but it’d be my third or fourth choice, or one made out of haste. Edit- I would also consider a coil or two on the bowlines wrapping trees. Will keep your lines where you want them and reduce sawing motion on rappels.

Those issues are really only a result of overuse of inputs driven by meat consumption, fuel ethanol production, and basic misunderstanding/incompetence at agroecology. Not hard problems to solve if regulatory tools can be used. Wouldn’t be an issue if you could get rid of industry groups and lobbyists etc.
It’s usually not the only way to get rid of invasives, it’s often the cheapest. Federal and other government agencies often use herbicide in wildly inappropriate if not outright illegal ways
