It is strange to me when I tell an American online I live in Mexico and they are like “Oh wow, isn’t it… Dangerous?!?”

When I talk to Americans and say that the only place I’d like to go back to is Portland they’re always like ITS A SHITHOLE, IT IS A WARZONE! ITS HOMELESS PEOPLE AT WAR WITH THE POLICE. It is a very weird alternate reality they live in built by their state propaganda news that doesn’t make it to where I live and its so very strange. They can literally just go there and see it isn’t true but never leave their shitty small towns.
