On September 11, 1973, a pivotal event occurred in Chile that had profound political and historical implications:
The 1973 Chilean Coup d’État
and so on.
So that clearly works.
Apparently nothing happened on June 4th 1989

The Company isnt publicly traded anymore, so he bought the entire thing. 9% was just the start.
The business magnate Elon Musk initiated an acquisition of American social media company Twitter, Inc. on April 14, 2022, and concluded it on October 27, 2022. Musk had begun buying shares of the company in January 2022, becoming its largest shareholder by April with a 9.1 percent ownership stake. Twitter invited Musk to join its board of directors, an offer he initially accepted before declining. On April 14, Musk made an unsolicited offer to purchase the company, to which Twitter’s board responded with a “poison pill” strategy to resist a hostile takeover before unanimously accepting Musk’s buyout offer of $44 billion on April 25.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/ has a fucking intro video. KEKW (only because im in europe xdd)
I think the toyota corolla is a cool car and it doesnt exist as a plugin hybrid was my main reason for buying it. Other than that, the Toyota C-HR exists as mild hybrid and as plugin hybrid and the plugin hybrid is 6k € more expensive (new).
Yes using it without charging it would be almost the same as a mild hybrid but the cars are literally more expensive.
They had a record year in 2023 and were outperforming 2023 for the first 3 quarters of 2024 (full year 2024 will be released later i guess). So right now they are still doing fine, but they need to change something for the future.
The A3 costs like 10k more (New price). With similar age/KM as mine they are like 7k more (not many on the market tbh). And if I had 20k and really wanted to save the enviorenment and reduce my Co2 output I would buy a old used car for 5k and plant trees for 15k.
Oh, sorry i thought its about EV’s. I recently bought a car and thought about getting a Audi A3 Plugin Hybrid but decided for the toyota Corolla hybrid because I couldnt charge it at home and driving out to Charge + drive out to get fuel is kinda annoying. And it still says that the A3 would need like 14.7KWH + 0,3L / 100km so its really not cheaper by a factor of 3 or 4 but rather by 1.2
Not everyone has their own home. Fueling up is much faster. EV’s are more expensive when buying. Hybrids have much longer range. EV’s at 15kwh/100km would be depending on the price end up at like 4-6€/100km, Hybrids at 4L/100km would end up at like 7€/100km.
Well, average Fuel Consumption for petrol engines in germany is 7.7L, so if you drive a mild hybrid that has 4-5L it still helps.
Edit: also i just realized that its new cars registrations for december, not total share.
Crazy to me that EV + Hybrid is larger than petrol cars already.
Where do i not believe in the truth?
Would you say if someone else murders a million people its fine for you to murder 3?
As i stated before, they are not responsible for the overwhelming majority, they are just much higher per person.
Even if you fix the top 1% to 0 you are still left with 84,1% of the previous emitted Co2.
I do agree that there should be reductions but not just to the top 1% and definitely dont blame someone as an excuse to be bad yourself.
Is blaming a worse group an excuse for a larger group to ignore everything?
So you are below 2000$ per year?
If you rephrase these stats, the group from top 50% to top 1% is responsible for 76,4% of Co2. pretty sure you are in that group.
Well i got 6 KWH in December and the highest of the year was 81.4 KWH in June. I’m just saying that getting closer to fully consuming what you produce is much more worth than going into the grid/batterys. We also don’t produce to get to 0 KWH by external sources but that isnt the goal.
Well we are a 2 person household basically, what do you do to consume the power of 8 panels on sunny days?
I googled it instead of chatgpting it. Crazy I know
