On my personal computer I ended up using a terminal RSS reader (Newsboat) because the RSS software I tried before either rendered poorly or slowly and I would always end up reading the article in my browser. At least I can get through the feed fast. It also does podcasts and I set it up to deal with my YouTube subscriptions too.

On my Android phone I use Capy Reader.

There is no syncing between the devices.

Like lots of folks post-Google Reader I tried a number of online and syncable readers, like Feedly. It turns out it isn’t a big deal of things aren’t synced.

Je ne connais pas ce YouTubeur mais quand on fait un tel discours et puis on voit qu’il est sur YT, Twitter, LinkedIn, Insta, Discord et co. et YouTube me conseille Europe1 juste à côté… c’est pas très convaincant.

I live in France but visited Canada recently, I was able to see the main story but not all the bits before and after. The moment I landed back in France I received notifications for the 4 episodes I missed.

Not a big deal, really, but sometimes the news updates are very funny and balance out the heavier subject matter.

John Oliver’s show is free on YT outside of NA, hope that doesn’t change.

Some FF forks like LibreWolf break sites because they are too strict. That isn’t a critique, that’s just how LibreWolf works and if your threat model requires it, go for it.

You can toggle the flags or use a userjs like arkenfox or betterfox. Eventually they might also enable these flags.

On Android I like Privacy Browser, but it takes getting used to (I like being logged out when I close the browser in case someone uses my phone).

I doubt that iodé or Murena are attacking GrapheneOS. They have awful PR and communications and a history of acting like a suggestion or a minor critique is some sort of attack.

It is “subreddit drama” and pity marketing…

However, Graphene is the more secure and hardened device. Other alternatives don’t really make the same promises and are just alternatives or “degoogled” ROMs.

Ma femme fume. Pas facile du tout.

Je pense que c’est possible maintenant. J’ai commencé à 15 ans, là j’en ai 40. Je fumais si peu que mes collègues ne savaient pas que je fumais (5 ou 6 par jour et jamais avant 16h). J’ai fait un petit fichier tableur pour suivre mes économies, etc.

À 6 clopes par jour, c’est environ 260€. Comme dirait mon fils, « c’est beaucoup de LEGO ! »
