The man sitting next to Trump is his mentor, one of the most horrible people who ever lived, Roy Cohn.
Here is a review from Entertainment Weekly, which gives it a B+.

The first thing that stands out to me is that they got a ruggedly handsome, well dressed man to play him, instead of a fat blob, with freakishly weird hair, and a bald spot. So unrealistic.
Apparently he gets fatter and uglier as the movie progresses.
LOL, that’s a nice touch, but he’s never been fit or handsome, not even as a young man.
