Tested on rugged terrain, the Stella Terra off-road SUV is powered entirely by the solar panels on its roof.

        I think the point Borg was trying to make was that that vehicle is not really practical, and that there are perfectly fine existing solutions such as public transport.

      For Stella Terra, the challenge is even tougher and the landscape of the Netherlands is limiting the testing options available to the team. Later this month, the off-road vehicle will take its first long-distance trip and travel to Morocco.

      Things are allowed to work better someplaces than others. Not everything needs to be a perfect solution everywhere all the time. In fact, basically nothing is. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
