The possibilities are endless. Maybe their name is Dary and their last name starts with LC. The worst part is, I could’ve started a whole new username as the name is my name and I still went for the same name even after I noticed.

I like it, but I also worry that it has the potential to take over the thread instead of actual words. I hope not, I like the discussion aspect. If the DT became overrun with memes and gifs like a Facebook page it would be a terrible loss.
yeah for sure, though some kind of hard sizing limit should be able to stop that. i feel like overall a couple of minor formatting tweaks would improve this layout a lot
I’ve never used Facebook but i see your point. I REALLY like it though. Sometimes words just won’t do for some shenanigans and I’m confident the clientele here would not abuse it.

I went back to dumblederp (from sanemartigan). There’s a few new names here. I hope to see some more old ones turn up.

Also, theoretically, someone can have the exact same username on a different server or “instance” but that would show up as part of the username.
