I think this is honestly a great time to evangelize Lemmy. Folks, reach out to your niche communities and let them know about their lemmy alternatives. If your sub is going dark, give those users a landing space for where they can go in those 2 days
Hence why I made this community. The mods for the reddit version have been awfully quiet
I was blown away with the post a few months ago this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/coolguides/comments/gjhi1d/cool_guide_how_5_mods_control_92_500_top/ And yeah, how can 5 mods control that many huge communities? Such a hoarding of power, no wonder so many go dormant.
